As expected, Family First Sports Park's Memorial Day Shootout, has taken its place among the top college recruiting tournaments in the country. This opportunity for exposure has enabled us to strengthen the competitive level of play in the U16 through U18 age groups. 2005 Memorial Day Shootout Erie will continue to host the 8th annual Memorial Day Soccer Tournament, one of the country’s top youth soccer events, May 28-30, 2005, at Family First Sports Park. The tournament which will generate an estimated 1.5 million dollars for the local economy. The event has been re-named the 2005 Memorial Day Shootout and Family First Sports Park will serve as the hub for the event. ?The event now has the backing it needs to grow to become a key civic event for this area,? said Gary Renaud, President/CEO of Family First Sports Park.
The 2005 Memorial Day Shootout will be held at the host venue of Family First Sports Park. Over 150 teams are expected in 2005, so get your registration form in early. Family First Sports Park has been called the "best soccer complex in the country," with 17 world-class playing fields. It also features a 116-room, air-conditioned Housing and Conference Center and Family Fun Center, all within walking distance of your game fields. Space is limited–register early!

The Memorial Day Shootout is for premier soccer teams ages U9–U19. The tournament will feature some of the best boys and girls soccer teams in the United States and Canada. The 2005 Memorial Day Shootout will be held at the host venue of Family First Sports Park.

This is a US CLUB Soccer event. USYSA teams are permitted to participate.

All FINALS will be held on Monday May 30th, 2005. Team and individual awards will be given to champions and runners up.

The Housing & Conference Center features two big-screen TV lounges and a Clubhouse filled with arcade games, pool tables, air hockey and much more. This complex, located on-site, has 116, air-conditioned rooms—it is an ideal place to stay if you’re traveling from out-of-town, because it is within walking distance from everything on our entire campus, which eliminates fighting the traffic.

Memorial Day Shootout Schedules will be available ONLY via the internet. Please be sure to log on 1 week before the tournament start date to check your team schedule. All schedules are subject to change. Any schedule changes durning tournament will be posted at Family First.
