Charlie Ward will return to the Park once again in 2004 to do what he has become known for outside of his professional NBA career — reaching out and making a difference in the lives of young people.

The former Heisman Trophy winner, at Florida State University, he has embraced his responsibility both as an athlete and a role model, giving back unselfishly to the young athletes who aspire to follow him into the NBA.

Camp Director: Rich Jessup
Rich will again be the director of the Charlie Ward Boys Instructional Camp. From his playing experience, both on the college and international levels, Rich brings a vast knowledge of the game of basketball to any basketball camp he directs. His world-class playing skills enable him to teach many basketball players, both young and old, the skills of the game. He is regarded by many to be one of the best shooting instructors in the country.

Rich is now the director of Pro Basketball Outreach, a ministry to NBA basketball players and their families. He also travels the world as a Christian motivational speaker and coach.

Special Features
• Highly-Motivated & Professional Coaching Staff
• FREE Camp T-shirt & Ball
• First-Class Supervision at All Times
• Special Guest Speakers:
Monty Williams, Reggie White & Danny Copeland

The secrets of running the point, shooting and passing are some of the technical aspects of the camp that include a healthy dose of game experience.

It is Charlie’s message that many will come to hear. He explains that achieving success in basketball goes beyond raw talent and will—extending to the personal character values and spirituality that athletes must master off the court to be successful on it.
